Freemasonry in Vancouver

Celebrating 150 Years of Freemasonry in BC

Welcome to the Vancouver Masonic Centre.

The Vancouver Masonic Centre (VMC) prides itself as the premier Masonic meeting space in Western Canada. Redeveloped in 2022 into the state of the art building it is today, the VMC has been an integral part of the community since 1974, supporting the fellowship, brotherhood and self-improvement of Freemasons in the Lower Mainland and serving as a legacy as a venue for some of the most important and memorable moments in the lives of non-masons too. On this site, you can explore the VMCA’s history in Vancouver and learn about the joining process and about the other amenities and features the building has to offer.

The Masonic Centre Building

In Spring of 2022 the VMC Association was pleased to unveil a new building in the South Granville district on the site which it has stood for nearly 50 years. Its design promotes public gathering with the streetside café, extending further upstairs to the grand ARRAS Ballroom and Events space with its stunning views of the skyline and False Creek.
